🌟 Wings of Sewanee – A Community Taking Flight! 🌟

Something truly special has landed right here in Sewanee 💛

If you’ve driven through town lately, you’ve probably seen the brand-new Angel Wing Mural on the side of The Lemon Fair — completed just in time for Homecoming weekend!

✨ Inspired by the Rose Window of All Saints Chapel, the concept was dreamed up by Emma Kate Temple (C’25) and beautifully designed and painted by Tess Davies (C’14) — both proud Sewanee alumnae.

Sponsored by Your Team on the Mountain — Andrea & Scott Evans (C’98) and Will Reynolds (C’07) — this mural celebrates the creativity, connection, and Sewanee spirit that make life on the Mountain so special.

🐾 One of our favorite details? There’s even a smaller set of wings for your pets (and little ones!) to join the fun.

This spring, we’ll celebrate with an official unveiling, complete with landscaping, a pathway, and a plaque honoring everyone involved.
